Computational Intelligence and Combinatorial Decision Problems

The LEMA and LEMec UDTs will be holding a pre-event with researchers from the country and abroad. Among the activities we have a course entitled “Computational Intelligence and Combinatory Decision Problems”, given by Prof. Dr. Carlos Alberto Cruz Corona, from the University of Granada – Spain, Deputy Director of the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The course will last 9 hours (3 sessions of 3 hours / day) and will be held on 02, 03 and 10/04/2019, at 9 am, room 105, block 2. Carlos Alberto will be in Brazil for a period of 15 days, within the scope of the CAPES / PRINT / UERJ Internationalization Project.

Limited places !!! Inscriptions at UDT / LEMA

Course objectives:

– Encourage participants’ interest in Computational Intelligence as a tool to solve combinatorial decision problems. Present some applications to real cases in decision and optimization problems.

– That participants can use this knowledge to solve specific problems and propose the design of an intelligent system based on Computational Intelligence.

Themes:

1) Understand what Computational Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing is

2) Route planning applications for tow trucks

– System of distribution of health patrols against dengue

– Simulated autonomous car

– Custom routes

3) Application design proposals based on computational intelligence
