The event entitled “Inter-institutional Workshop on Computational Modeling, Bayesian Optimization, Control and Inverse Problems” was held on May 31, 2013 and June 1, 2013, in Room Ruy Marques – 109, Block II, at the Polytechnic Institute of UERJ, Nova Friburgo Campus, at UDT/LEMA, in person.
Among the presentations, special mention should be made of the lecture by Professor Orestes Llanes Santiago, from the Ernesto Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana, CUJAE, Cuba, on June 1 at 9:30 am.
The presentation, entitled “Decomposition of Dynamic Modes: a Tool for Data Analysis”, explained the fundamentals of the computational tool “Decomposition in Dynamic Modes”, which has recently emerged to extract low-order models from data obtained from high-dimensional complex systems.
