Since 08/29/2019, TDU / LEMA has had the presence of Visiting Researcher in Brazil, Prof. Orestes Llanes Santiago, graduated in Electrical Engineering – Superior Polytechnique Institute José Antonio Echeverría, Master in Automation and Control – University of Los Andes Venezuela and Doctorate in Discontinuous Control of Non-Linear Systems – University of Los Andes Venezuela. He is currently Full Professor at the Technological University of La Havana José Antonio Echeverría – Cuba. He has experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on Automation, working mainly on the following topics: Parameter Estimation, Fault Diagnosis in Industrial Systems, Intelligent Control, Nonlinear Control, Inverse Problems and Discontinuous Control. The Researcher will stay in Brazil for a period of 04 months, through the CAPES / PRINT / UERJ Project, carrying out various activities, among them the interaction with different research groups.
