The present work aims to estimate the parameters necessary to predict a contaminant diffusion in a medium where a biflux anomalous diffusion phenomenon occurs. To accomplish it, an inverse problem approach is adopted, and with the aid of the Differential Evolution algorithm the parameters were estimated. Synthetic experimental data generated with the Bevilacqua-Galeão Model were used to simulate a real case scenario. The outcome of the proposed method accurately predicted the dispersion of contamination with a tolerable margin of error.
