Prof. Orestes Llanes Santiago, from Havana José Antonio Echeverría Technological University – Cuba, is in UDT/LEMA since 01/April/2023, for a period of three months, through the CAPES/PRINT/UERJ Project. The Visiting Researcher in Brazil, has experience in the area of Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Automation, working mainly on the following topics: Parameter Estimation, Fault Diagnosis in Industrial Systems, Intelligent Control, Nonlinear Control, Inverse Problems and Discontinuous Control.
